Multiverse: Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science implements a rigorous peer-review system to ensure the quality and integrity of all published works. Every submitted manuscript undergoes the following stages:

1. Initial Screening (Pre-Review)
Each submission is first evaluated by the Editorial Team based on the following criteria:
Scope Fit
Assessment of whether the manuscript aligns with the journal’s focus and scope.

Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts are screened using Turnitin or iThenticate, with a similarity threshold of less than 20%.

Formatting Compliance
Verification that the manuscript adheres to the Author Guidelines and journal template.

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements will be rejected or returned to the authors for revision prior to the peer-review process.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review
The journal applies a double-blind review process, in which:
• The identity of the authors is concealed from the reviewers.
• The identity of the reviewers is concealed from the authors.
• Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two (2) independent experts in the field of Informatics.

3. Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following aspects:
Originality
The extent to which the work provides new insights or innovative solutions.

Methodological Rigor
The soundness of the research design and technical implementation (e.g., algorithms, system design, data analysis).

Clarity
The quality of writing and ease of understanding.

Relevance
The significance of the research in the context of current technological developments.

4. Review Outcomes
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor will make one of the following decisions:

  1. Accept Submission – The manuscript is accepted without revision.
  2. Minor Revision – The manuscript requires minor revisions and is typically reviewed by the Editor.
  3. Major Revision (Resubmit for Review) – The manuscript requires substantial revisions and will undergo a second round of peer review.
  4. Reject Submission – The manuscript is rejected due to insufficient novelty, relevance, or methodological quality.

5. Final Decision
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into consideration the reviewers’ comments and the quality of revisions submitted by the authors.
