Publication Ethics
Multiverse Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. All submitted manuscripts, whether theoretical or empirical, undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.
1. Duties of Authors
• Reporting Standards
Authors must present an accurate account of the work performed, along with an objective discussion of its significance.
• Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
• Multiple or Redundant Publication
Authors should not submit or publish the same research in more than one journal or primary publication.
• Acknowledgement of Sources
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.
2. Duties of Editors
• Fair Play
Editors evaluate manuscripts solely based on their intellectual content, without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
• Confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and the publisher.
• Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor’s own research without the author’s explicit written consent.
3. Duties of Reviewers
• Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and may also help authors improve their manuscripts.
• Promptness
Reviewers who feel unqualified or unable to complete the review in a timely manner should notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.
• Standards of Objectivity
Reviews must be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Reviewers should express their views clearly and support them with arguments.
4. Dealing with Unethical Behavior
• Identification of Misconduct
Unethical behavior or misconduct may be identified and reported at any time by anyone.
• Investigation Process
The editor will investigate the case and provide the accused party with an opportunity to respond.
• Actions
If misconduct is confirmed, the journal may issue a formal notice, correction, or retraction of the article.
5. Plagiarism Screening
• Strict Policy
Multiverse Journal enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.
• Screening Process
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate before the peer-review process.
• Threshold
Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20%, or containing significant identical text from a single source, will be returned for revision or rejected.
6. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy in Scientific Writing
• Authorship
AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Jasper, or other large language models) cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
• Disclosure Requirement
The use of AI tools must be clearly disclosed in the Materials and Methods section or in the Acknowledgements.
• Human Oversight
Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of all content, including any AI-assisted material.
• AI-Generated Images and Figures
Any AI-generated images or figures must be clearly labeled and must not violate copyright or manipulate original scientific data.
